Sunday Morning Concert

Pera Palace Hotel Sunday Morning Classics concludes its season with a distinguished solo recital by Naz İrem Türkmen, one of the most promising young violinists of her generation.

At just 19 years of age, the artist represents the fifth generation of a family deeply rooted in music. Having begun her violin studies at an early age in Istanbul, Naz İrem Türkmen now continues her musical journey in Salzburg, supported by the renowned Pekinel sisters.

Performing on an approximately 300-year-old violin, the young virtuoso aspires one day to own a Stradivarius. Her recital program features solo works by Bach and Paganini, through which she will present an interpretation marked by emotional depth, sensitivity, and sincerity. Türkmen is already regarded as a successor to Ayla Erduran, one of Türkiye’s most distinguished violinists.

Set within the enchanting atmosphere of Pera Palace Hotel, this special recital promises to bring the Sunday Morning Classics season to an elegant and memorable close.
