Atatürk Museum Room

Atatürk Museum Room, preserving the traces of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the grandeur of a historical era, offers a journey through time for its visitors. Room 101 at the Pera Palace Hotel is renowned as the room where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed and worked during his visits to Istanbul before residing in Dolmabahçe Palace. This room played a significant role during the founding period of the Republic of Turkey, where many critical decisions were made. Atatürk used this room not only for state affairs but also to host important guests.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of Atatürk’s birth, Room 101 was converted into a museum. It now exhibits his personal belongings, books, gifts sent to him, and newspapers from that era.
