Classic Literary Masterpieces Take the Stage at Pera Palace Hotel This Ramadan

One of Istanbul’s most iconic and elegant landmarks, Pera Palace Hotel, welcomes art lovers this Ramadan with an unforgettable theatre series inspired by the world’s greatest literary classics.

Presented by Tiyartomig and Tiyatrose, these special performances will take place onFebruary 24 & 26 and March 2, 5, 9 and 12, starting at 21:00 after iftar, within the timeless atmosphere of Pera Palace Hotel. Throughout this series, masterpieces of world literature come to life on stage, offering emotionally rich evenings of theatre.

Letter from an Unknown Woman (February 24 – 21:00)

Adapted from Stefan Zweig’s poignant novella, this deeply moving story reveals the unseen side of a great love. On his 41st birthday, a writer receives an anonymous letter that draws him into a love story he never knew he was at the center of.

The Lily of the Valley (February 26 – 21:00)

Balzac’s The Lily of the Valley tells the story of Félix de Vandenesse, marked by an unhappy childhood, and his profound, unrequited love for the virtuous and unattainable Madame de Mortsauf. Narrated through a long letter written to his fiancée Natalie, the play offers a delicate portrait of suppressed emotions, innocence, and inner solitude.
