In celebration of World Theatre Day, two distinguished theatre performances will meet audiences in the historic Grand Pera Ballroom at Pera Palace Hotel.
Staged by the theatre companies Tiyartomig and Tiyatrose, these classic productions will be presented on 27 March at 19:00 and 21:00. As part of this special series, powerful works of world literature will come to life within the timeless atmosphere of Pera Palace Hotel.

Letter from an Unknown Woman (27 March – 19:00)
This poignant story by Stefan Zweig reveals the hidden face of a great and unspoken love. On his 41st birthday, a writer receives an anonymous letter and finds himself at the center of a love story he had never even realized existed.

Lily of the Valley (27 March – 21:00)
Honoré de Balzac’s Lily of the Valley tells the story of Félix de Vandenesse, whose unhappy childhood leads him to develop a deep and unrequited love for the virtuous and unattainable Madame de Mortsauf. Narrated through a long letter Félix writes to his fiancée Natalie, the story offers a delicate portrait of suppressed emotions, innocence, and spiritual solitude.
