Exclusive for World Theatre Day

For centuries, the lights of the stage have asked the same question: What makes us human?
The art of theatre, which relentlessly pursues this question, continues to touch the human spirit today just as it has throughout history.

In celebration of World Theatre Day, two distinguished theatre performances will meet audiences in the historic Grand Pera Ballroom at Pera Palace Hotel.

Staged by the theatre companies Tiyartomig and Tiyatrose, these classic productions will be presented on 27 March at 19:00 and 21:00. As part of this special series, powerful works of world literature will come to life within the timeless atmosphere of Pera Palace Hotel.
