Pera Palace Hotel Sunday Morning Concert “Violin Music Through the Ages” Two distinguished figures of Türkiye’s classical music scene, violinist Sevil Ulucan Weinstein and pianist Gülnare Şekinskaya, will be guest artists of the Pera Palace Sunday Morning Concerts, organized by Project Kültür with the sponsorship of Mastercard.

The Ulucan Weinstein–Şekinskaya duo will present a special recital on Sunday, 22 February at 11:00, dedicated to International Women’s Day on 8 March, featuring a program of violin and piano works by women composers.

The repertoire includes works by Mathilde Kralik, whose elegant violin sonata from the late 19th century awaits rediscovery; Maria Theresia von Paradis, a close friend of Mozart; the legendary pianist and composer Clara Schumann; her close associate Johannes Brahms; and Bulgarian composer Georgi Zlatev-Cherkin.

The concert will also feature the world premiere of a new work specially composed for this occasion by young composer Melisa Uzunarslan.

The concert will be presented by Serhan Bali, Artistic Director of the Pera Palace Sunday Morning Concerts.
