  • Once proofed, divide the dough into three equal portions. Shape each into a long strand, then join them at one end and braid elegantly.
  • Transfer the braided dough onto a baking tray and let it rest at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes. Afterwards, brush the surface with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle approximately one teaspoon of sliced almonds on top.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 190°C (375°F) for 25 to 30 minutes.
