Ziya Osman Saba in all his stories; mentions his love for Istanbul, childhood memories, and longing. Saba often talks about Beyo\u011flu in his story, K\u0131\u015f Gezintisi. He expresses his longing in many sentences such as \u201c\u2026first of all, it was a country of cinemas and a winter trip meant Beyo\u011flu.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Sait Faik Abas\u0131yan\u0131k &#8211; T\u00fcneldeki \u00c7ocuk<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sait Faik Abas\u0131yan\u0131k always chooses the characters in his stories from people in real life and talks about the negativities, troubles, and joys of these characters. His story T\u00fcneldeki \u00c7ocuk(The Boy in the Tunnel) is one of them. Sait Faik Abas\u0131yan\u0131k tells the story of a poor boy&#8217;s first ride in the tunnel going between Karak\u00f6y to Beyo\u011flu, and the happiness he experienced, that he probably came across while on a trip to Beyo\u011flu, in his work called T\u00fcneldeki \u00c7ocuk.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Demir \u00d6zl\u00fc &#8211; A Lunch Time in Beyo\u011flu<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A Lunch Time in Beyo\u011flu is featured in Demir \u00d6zl\u00fc&#8217;s short story book The Magic of Istanbul, which consists of 15 stories. In his story, Demir \u00d6zl\u00fc tells the ordinary course of life at any noon in Beyo\u011flu with his own unique descriptions.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Naim Tirali &#8211; B\u00fcy\u00fck Cadde<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>He talks about Istiklal Street in B\u00fcy\u00fck Cadde(Grand Street), one of the stories in Naim Tirali&#8217;s work, which consists of six short stories called Yirmi Be\u015f Kuru\u015fa Amerika(Twenty Five Pennies For America).
