The final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk, the founder of modern Turkish Republic, is located at the An\u0131tkabir where you can see his personal belongings. Atat\u00fcrk and the War of Independence Museum, situated in An\u0131tkabir, consist of his clothing, books, and the items of Atat\u00fcrk’s other personal belongings such as the items given to him by foreign statesmen.<\/p>\n

This historic three-story mansion, housed in the street in \u015ei\u015fli, was rented by Atat\u00fcrk in the first years of Turkish War of Independence. The great leader planned the liberation of our country during his stay in this house. Atat\u00fcrk’s house stands today in the same place and is visited by his enthusiasts every day. In the museum, photographs about Atat\u00fcrk’s life, clothing, documents of interest about the revolution, personal belongings and paintings related to the Turkish War of Independence are on display.<\/p>\n

Pera Palace Hotel Room Number 101<\/h2>\n

Pera Palace Hotel, which has witnessed history for more than a century in the most beautiful corner of Istanbul, has hosted many notable names from the past to the present. He stayed at the hotel several times between 1917-1936. Sometimes he preferred Pera Palace Hotel to take the most critical decisions about the country and sometimes to welcome his distinguished guests. His visits were often in Room 101. This room, witnessed the important moments of Atat\u00fcrk and used it as a home on the returns from the front-line, was converted into a museum room in the 100th anniversary of his birth, to preserve his memory forever.<\/p>\n

Rahmi Ko\u00e7 Museum Atat\u00fcrk Section<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Rahmi Koc Museum Atat\u00fcrk Section is a precious part that allows you to recognize Ataturk better and understand the period of the Young Republic of Turkey. This section includes clothes, office supplies, various personal belongings and photographs belonging to Atat\u00fcrk. This unique collection was collected by Colonel Halil Nuri Yurdakul, one of the relatives and colleagues of Atat\u00fcrk.<\/p>\n

Florya was an area where Atat\u00fcrk was impressed and frequently visited. For this reason, this mansion built in the last years of Ataturk was presented to him by the Mayor of Istanbul. The Great Leader lived here for a long time and used it for political and scientific gatherings, where he hosted essential guests, including the King of United Kingdom. The Mansion continues to captivate its visitors as Atat\u00fcrk Museum.<\/p>\n

This house, which is located in Thessaloniki, where the Great Leader was born, grew up and spent part of his youth days, today serves as the Atat\u00fcrk Museum and is open to visitors. Atat\u00fcrk and his family’s personal belongings are displayed in the mansion.<\/p>\n

Trabzon Atat\u00fcrk Mansion<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Trabzon<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this mansion in Trabzon, Atat\u00fcrk was hosted during a visit to Trabzon; then it was redecorated and presented to him. Ataturk also stayed here several times during his later visits to Trabzon. The mansion now serves as a museum and the furniture and porcelain of the 19th and 20th centuries and also Atat\u00fcrk’s paintings are exhibited.<\/p>\n

Bursa Atat\u00fcrk House Museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Great Leader stayed in this mansion in Bursa, and then the mayor bought the estate from the owner and gifted it to Atat\u00fcrk. Today, the mansion serves as a museum exhibits objects used by Atat\u00fcrk.<\/p>\n

Izmir Ataturk museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Today, this house, which serves as the Atat\u00fcrk Museum in Izmir, was presented to Atat\u00fcrk by the Municipality of Izmir as other Atat\u00fcrk houses in other cities. The Great Leader stayed in this house during every visit to Izmir between 1930-1934. The historic mansion is now used as a museum where Atat\u00fcrk’s personal belongings are exhibited.<\/p>\n
