Pera Palace Hotel is pleased to host a distinguished exhibition bringing together some of the most prominent figures of Turkish painting at the Galata Exhibition Hall. Curated from the Demsa Collection, <\/span>\u201c<\/b>The Master’s Hands: Artists Who Passed Through Ne\u015fet G\u00fcnal\u2019s Studio\u201d explores not only the profound influence of a master artist on his students, but also the evolution of figurative painting in T\u00fcrkiye over the past half century.<\/span><\/p>\n

Featuring works by artists whose paths crossed in Ne\u015fet G\u00fcnal\u2019s studio, the exhibition reflects a shared discipline of seeing, thinking, and artistic production rather than a unified stylistic approach. Ne\u015fet G\u00fcnal, who began his studies at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts in 1939 and mentored numerous artists between 1964 and 1983, left a lasting impact on generations of painters.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition includes works by Ne\u015fet G\u00fcnal, Ahmet Umur Deniz, As\u0131m \u0130\u015fler, Artin Demirci, Ayd\u0131n Ayan, Cansen Ercan, Emel \u015eahinkaya (G\u00fcns\u00fcr), Cemal G\u00fcrsel Soyel, Cihat Aral, Fahri S\u00fcmer, H\u00fcsn\u00fc Kolda\u015f, \u0130nci Eviner, \u0130rfan Okan, \u0130rfan \u00d6n\u00fcrmen, Kas\u0131m Ko\u00e7ak, Kemal \u0130skender, Mahir G\u00fcven, Mehmet G\u00fclery\u00fcz, Nedret Sekban, Ne\u015f\u2019e Erdok, Nevhiz Tanyeli, Resul Aytem\u00fcr, Sabahattin Tuncer, Serap Murathano\u011flu Eyrenci, Sezai \u00d6zdemir and \u015eenol Yorozlu.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Master’s Hands: Artists Who Passed Through Ne\u015fet G\u00fcnal\u2019s Studio\u201d will be on view at the Galata Exhibition Hall from <\/span>12 June to 31 July 2026<\/b>. The exhibition may be visited <\/span>Monday through Sunday, except Mondays, between 10:00 and 18:00<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The opening reception will take place on Friday, 12 June 2026, from 18:30 to 21:00.<\/span><\/p>\n
