WHITE NIGHTS

This romantic tale follows an unforgettable encounter between a dreamer, a young man lost in his imagination, and a sorrowful woman who suddenly enters his life. The narrator, a shy and introverted man in his twenties, spends his nights wandering the streets of St. Petersburg, observing its people and buildings, and immersing himself in his thoughts.

One night, he meets Nastenka, a young woman. As their conversation unfolds, they begin to share their life stories. The narrator finds himself increasingly drawn to Nastenka, though he keeps his feelings hidden. Nastenka, however, is deeply in love with a man from the countryside, her grandmother’s lodger, who left for Moscow a year ago with the promise to return, but has not written to her since.

Yet, everything takes an unexpected turn…

Set against the melancholic streets of St. Petersburg, White Nights is a poignant story of deep emotions and inner conflicts. This compelling production, performed by Tiyartomig, awaits its audience in the magnificent Grand Pera Ballroom.
